Admiral Byrd's team of six R4-D's were fitted with the super secret "Trimetricon" spy cameras and each plane was trailing a magnetometer. They flew over as much of the continent as they could in the short three month "summer" period, mapping and recording magnetic data. Magnetometers show anomalies in the Earth's magnetism, i.e. if there is a "hollow" place under the surface ice or ground, it will show up on the meter.

Most likely, it was one of these R4Ds that was involved in Admiral Byrd's mapping flight that reportedly returned 3 hours late, due to severe weather (or encounters with Nazis, or some combination of the two). :)

Was this written in ancient text? Yes indeed. There has been mention of such a conjunction in the Mayan text as well as Hopi Prophecy. This coming week the planet Mars reaches opposition on June 13th and is nearest Earth on June 21st. While this brings excellent viewing of Mars red disk low in the southern sky, at the same time Jupiter is exactly on the opposite side of the Sun. I see an eventful week, with events peaking from June 13th to 15th. On June 15, 2001 at 11:47 am EST (12:47 pm EDT) the astrochart shows Sun, Jupiter, and Mercury all opposite Mars. And guess where the Moon is. Yes, it is in the seventh (sept) house (for Washington DC). Is there a connection here with Nostradamus' famous quatrain containing "sept" and "Mars rules happily"? Further, this is the time period when any chunks from last years Mars possible encounter with 76P would reach the Earth.

I contacted the Star Phoenix in Canada to get them to confirm that they'd carried this story, because it sounded phoney to me. I got an email back from Jason Warick, a reporter on that paper, who was furious! He says he did not write the story, and was highly incensed that someone was using his name.

The weird part is, they are over 10,000 years old. History will have to be rewritten because these ruins were not constructed by a bunch of hunter/gatherers. Discovery channel is preparing a documentary which shows the carvings on the ancient ruins.
