PUZZLING COMMENTARY: COMET TRACKER´S MAPS: Finally, the full-sky observation images can be processed in order to reveal bright points in ultraviolet light by subtracting an average hydrogen glow. When the maps are displayed in ecliptic coordinates any point seen moving on an image sequence is potentially a comet..The black areas have moved down in the last frame (the one with the extra white in the -90 position). This was probably due to the satellite being bumped from below and the camera pointed up (image shifted down). The subtraction of the "average" hydrogen background was messed up - there should be spots darker than normal as well if the average high intensity background was subtracted from the dimmer regions by mistake. What bumped the camera up from below, and how long has the data been skewed, since January?

The Electrical Connection

SLEUTHS: was the SWAN camera bumped and skewed back in January ´04 between 1/10/04 and 1/12/04, and only recently corrected and the actual real data returned? Or does the solar system periodically brighten due to solar influences or some incoming wave from Magnetars or other? These questions seems important as we are now seeing [or being "privileged" to witness] quite a massive event in the south.
