Y-Z Class Flare: 11/04/03 20:10:18 UTC [GOES Solar Xray Imager, perhaps the biggest ever recorded!]
Z-Class?
Just as solar scientists were ready to start breathing normally again, active
region 10486 blasted off yet another mega-flare. This one saturated the X-ray
detectors on the NOAA's GOES satellites; the jury is therefore out on the
definitive classification of the flare, but from a subjective judgement of
the data found on the NOAA SEC's space weather pages and links therein, we
estimate that it must have been well above 20.

EMAIL NOTE: I converted 10 Hrs. of recording to a wave file. My equipment only observes and records frequencies from DC to 10 Hz. I sampled the Windaq .wdq file at 8000 samples per second compressing it to bring it within the range of Human hearing. What you will hear I think are atmospherics even at these low frequencies plus many other oddball things. Most of which are Mag. storm induced. Keep in mind this recording is sped up dramatically. Larger file higher speed. [Kent trimmed a section out and slowed about 50%]
Lakota Grandfather's Directive: Watch the Sun. Nov 2004 is anticipated by some traditional Elders to be a time of change and happenings [the earth's spin is engineered or conducted by the sun, but the sun will withdraw electrogravitational forces (no, the sun won't go out, quite the opposite) leaving the earth to wobble by momentum only and to align to a new spin--Kent] The Elders all say that the way to survive anything that might be coming is through serious daily prayer and connected spirituality rather than mundane chores like stocking up on supplies. And that the more people of an area who are connected and grounded spirituality, the greater the likelihood of that area being spared some of the upheavals of grandmother earth--the Hopi said, those [sacred] areas will raise like mesas...Some of the Elders spoke of the increasing need for sunscreen for everyone. From attendance at A Gathering of Elders April 26 28, 2002 Denver, Colorado
Active Regions 486 and 488 (both of which have produced strong X-class flare activity), are now crossing the western solar limb. They will be behind the limb and out of view within the next 24 hours. This will end a two week flare storm of remarkable and historic activity. Although it is possible these active centers might survive the two week passage on the far side of the Sun back to the eastern solar limb, it is unlikely that they will return in 2 weeks in a form as volatile as we have been priviledged to witness. I tried for and got about five days creative break to work on my
writing efforts
and to launch
music-theatrical-art
projects; otherwise, I've been at watch around the clock since the flares
began. Please help me out with a gratis tip if possible. November
resources needed. I'll put the incoming funds to good use with y'all included
[Elvin musical
instruments for you] as well as to help local creatives who need an outlet
to help them with their goals. I am trying to bailing-wire together a theatrical
troop, music, actors, and puppets. The carnival would include college students,
neighbors and street creatives who need focus and income. My effort are now
a bit scattered but when the Muses sing it is time to do the dance. I
must pay the Piper too.
ORBIT is a two-way effort, me and you. Most grateful for your support! Kent Steadman; 425 S. 156th Street; #119A; Seattle, WA; 98148 [Special thanks to the kind Patron in Illinois towards keeping all these projects alive!] |
| Please help cyberadmin keep this awesome board alive. Although this effort is not owned by me it represents the expertise of great young genius who hopefully will take over when I finally poop out. In the meantime my separate funding efforts are almost entirely patron sponsored. |

STOVE
My life has been durned strange, has yours? Bet it has too. When I was a kid there were still General Stores, a pot-belly, apple barrel and old-timers with their tales. We whippersnappers used to skirt the shadows to listen. Better than TV, well, ahem, in my youth radio. Got any stories? |
