I wish to make it very clear from the start that I do not in any way embellish a photo to be something that it is not. I never know what a picture will turn out to be until I enhance it. Then I only work on what is there.
I never emboss a photo because it will move the pixels and can rearrange them. Once the picture is completed I am left with my own speculations as what it may be.
There are many enhancements on the net. I urge you to be cautious in what you are viewing. A great example is that we can see pictures in tree bark if we want to!
Therefore, I only stick to the true facts of any original photo that I work on to ensure that the image will speak for itself. It is up to you to judge what you are viewing.
My job is not to determine what the picture is, but to bring out what is in the photo. Often when I complete an enhancement I am left in awe and wonder as to what it is that I am seeing.
