Phikent: still storming?
BELTWAY REPORTER: oh yeah
BELTWAY REPORTER: terrible winds
BELTWAY REPORTER: andrews airforce base recorded 79mph wind gust
BELTWAY REPORTER: hurricanes are only up to 74 mph
BELTWAY REPORTER: over 1 million VA Power customers have no
electricity
BELTWAY REPORTER: Olney MD has all there electricity ...hah...underground
government complex out that way
BELTWAY REPORTER: I'm using my computer battery...don't know how long
it will last
BELTWAY REPORTER: some lightning flashes seen but no thunder and weird
green clouds are being seen
Phikent: any twisters?
BELTWAY REPORTER: none reported....the federal government is closed
tomorrow
BELTWAY REPORTER: the only other place in the metro area that has power
is Georgetown
Phikent: man Isabel way inland now and still looks like a
hurricane

Phikent: and it's going to ram into a cold air mass then things will
get interesting
BELTWAY REPORTER: yeah they been saying it hasn't broken up as is usual
when they hit land
Phikent: Isabel is angry!
BELTWAY REPORTER: Washington 340,000 Pepco customers out 106 million

Phikent: keep an eye on the nuke plants, they require power to stay
cool.
BELTWAY REPORTER: I'm close to Ft Detrick and I sure hope the bugs
they got there are secure

BELTWAY REPORTER: I think someone conjured up this storm

BELTWAY REPORTER: yes
BELTWAY REPORTER: since about 8:30PM
BELTWAY REPORTER: funny though alot of people reported going out between
1PM and 3PM storm wasn't that bad at that time
BELTWAY REPORTER: the Pres is at camp David about 20 miles North of
my present location
BELTWAY REPORTER: I think he cancelled his talks with some middle eastern
country head of state because of the storm
Phikent: yea about Israel peace talks Jordan's King Abdullah
Phikent: what does it feel like, intuitively?
BELTWAY REPORTER: Even without the storm this part of the country is
evil...heavy dark malevolent forces here
BELTWAY REPORTER: it is not just me either
BELTWAY REPORTER: well there are flood warnings until Sat
BELTWAY REPORTER: Many trees down.....the wind gusts up to 71
mile/hour
Phikent: what are people doing?
Phikent: anyone outside at all? deserted?
BELTWAY REPORTER: nothing....deserted yes...
BELTWAY REPORTER: very quiet here and very very dark outside
BELTWAY REPORTER: only sound is the wind and limbs crashing on the
roof
