Query One....I watched the news of the tram for days on tv here. It was made a big story, yet normally something like that wouldn't be (here, at least). I discounted it on first report, but when we kept hearing the same story over and over I sat and really listened. The report was that 20 astronomers were on that tram. No other people, just astronomers. No cleaners, no support people. I sure would like to get my hands on the list!!! The reports also said that though the tram facility was some years old, it had only been a couple of years since all the cables had been completely replaced and the facility upgraded. The cables had been checked in the last year as well. Now I have been on trams all over the world, and spent a lot of time on the tram at Albuquerque over the years. I do know that ice on the cables do not affect the trams. The connectors are made to take ice and not slip. Those big cables don't just break either. The slack in the length makes them very hard to break. I know this from my yachting days. When in a storm, and I have been in lots of them, including onboard tied down in cyclone weather, you allow more slack in any lines. When tied up especially. The slack takes the extra load without breakage. The longer the line, the less chance of trouble. So my reaction when I finally sat and listened to the reports was that something was up. They had found something they weren't to let us know. Maybe someone had talked too much. Now we know the vatican has rushed the building of the observatory. They know. They have already said that the angels have been seen and don't bring peace. Having read some of the small books that the pope has written the past few years, I figure he knows something too. He seems to be preparing his church for something. (I'm not Catholic. I have a friend who is and reads everything the pope puts out.) Recent vatican newsletters talk about the prophecies. In fact, all the churches seem to be preparing for something. The LDS sent a letter to all their members recently to tell them to up their supplies to 2 years, and that they would be strongly urging people to do this. Somehow we are gonna have to watch the reports and announcements. Don't know where to go to do this....maybe the vatican has a website. I will be checking the church news here too. Does the actual observatory have a website? I'll do some checking.
