Kent: In looking over our data for the time period during when the Alaska fireball was sighted, we detected another double EMP pulse similar to the one sighted December 7, 1998 over Georgia.
Notice to the right of the Alaska graph, the electrical pulses. If the fireball contacted earth, these pulses possibly were generated by a piezoelectric effect caused by earth movement.
